Copdock Weekly Update 03/11/2023

Information to Share

School Photos - Bentley Photographic will be in school next Thursday to take individual photographs of the children.  Please ensure everyone has a cardigan/jumper/fleece with them on the day.  Children will be sent home with a slip containing details of how to order copies of the photographs.  There will be a deadline for ordering them to be delivered to school - please adhere to this deadline, it is not set by the school.

Parent Consultations - Please ensure you are able to log into the school website as you will need access to book your slot for parent consultations.  The slots will be launched next Friday for you to book onto the events.  Please, where possible, book one slot per child.  Slots are limited to 10 minutes - please try to help us to stick to these timings by being on time and not over-running.  If you feel you need longer please get in touch to arrange an alternative.  If you cannot make either of the sessions please contact the office.

Anti-Bullying Week and Odd Socks 13-17 November culminating in Children in Need on the Friday.  As part of our anti-bullying week, Head Pupils will be leading their first assembly on Monday 13th November.  We are inviting children to come in to school wearing odd socks all week, to recognise that everyone is unique and special. What will you be wearing!?!

Every week we encourage parents to support their children to learn and use new vocabulary. In school we will be exploring the origin of new words, what they mean and how to use them effectively in context. If you can encourage your child to use these words it would be really helpful!
