Sleep Sessions - We have the mental health team coming into our Federation to run a parent workshop on how you can support your child with sleep.  We will be hosting one workshop at Copdock on Monday 11th March 2-3pm.  If this is not convenient, we will be hosting another session at Bentley CEVC Primary on Tuesday 12th March 2-3pm.  You are welcome to attend either session.

Food Festival - Thank you to Miss Cross for supporting KS2 cooking clubs this week; the children had a great time and the food smelled delicious!  All classes have engaged in cooking activities this week as part of our Food Festival.
We are introducing a new section of the website called 'Group Conversations'.  This is a secure section that can only be accessed by those with an active login to our website.  We will be sharing photos of this week's cooking via this method as a trial & welcome your feedback.  You can make comments on them as you would on a closed Facebook page.  With this in mind, we will be reconfirming photo permissions over the next few weeks - so please ensure you look out for the permission request and respond accordingly.

Foxes STEM Event - Friday 15th March - Children will be taking part in a 'Go Construct K'Nex' event, engaging in exciting challenges throughout the morning.

Governor Visit Day - Governors had a fantastic day on Thursday 15th February, visiting classes across both schools throughout the course of the day alongside Russ Clark, our Local Authority Standards and Excellence Partner. (SEP).  They had the opportunity to see learning in action and were keen to share feedback with staff and parents.  Here are a few of the comments shared during day, but more feedback can be found in the attached document.

words.PNG

Every week we encourage parents to support their children to learn and use new vocabulary.  In school we will be exploring the origin of new words, what they mean and how to use them effectively in context.  If you can encourage your child to use these words it would be really helpful!
