Information to Share

After School Clubs - after half term, we will continue to run our Monday ITFC club, the focus next half term will continue as multi-sports open to KS2 children.  Please make payment via the website and complete the Form to join.  Again it will be 5 weeks charged at £10 for the 5 sessions.  Tuesdays sees the continuation of Lego Club, please see the attached letter for details on how to sign up.  For those who have already made payment, gymnastics club will continue for another 5 weeks on Wednesdays.  Copdock will be hosting a Coding Club for Year 3 & 4 pupils across the Federation on Tuesdays until 4:15pm for 4 sessions from 5th March.  Please note places are limited to 10 on a first come, first served basis - if your child would like to join please complete the Form to confirm their space as soon as possible.  Children who are attending the Cooking sessions after half term have already been notified by email.
 
Shared Learning - on the first Friday back after half term, we will be inviting parents in for coffee and chat from 2:15pm.  Please let us know if you will be dropping in https://forms.office.com/e/wK9cpLsw4G  Parents are then welcome into classes from 2:45pm to share learning with their child.  If you have more than one child please come in from 2:30pm.  Please note, if you have younger siblings to attend with you, we ask that you join us after school at 3:15pm.  Please be advised, parents will be asked to meet their children on the playground from 3:10pm, this helps to ensure the children have a safe and calm transfer at the end of the day.  
 
Family Assemblies - after half term there will be a new schedule of assemblies on Fridays for children to share their learning.  Please see attached.
 
Bee Books - early in March we have a lady coming into school to deliver an assembly and talk about bees & bee keeping.  She has published a book.  Parents are able to purchase a copy of the book, which she is happy to sign, for £5 but these must be pre-ordered.  If you would like a copy of the book please let the office know by Wednesday 28th February.  You will need to send £5 in a named envelope marked 'Bee Book' before Friday 1st March.


 

REMINDERS!!!!

Foxes need packed lunches on Mondays if they are attending guitar.
 
Children need a coat with them every day - please ensure they have their name in it and on their jumpers/cardigans/fleeces - especially those used for PE!

Every week we encourage parents to support their children to learn and use new vocabulary.  In school we will be exploring the origin of new words, what they mean and how to use them effectively in context.  If you can encourage your child to use these words it would be really helpful!
