Copdock Primary School Achieve Gold Kitemark Award
The School Games Mark is a government led awards scheme launched in 2012 to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community. Participating in this process allows schools to evaluate their PE provision and assists them in developing an action plan for future progress. Schools in England are able to assess themselves across bronze, silver and gold levels of the Mark. Last year when we applied, we achieved Silver Kitemark. After filling in the application criteria using last year's success in sport, we are thrilled to say we have been awarded the Gold Kitemark Award. Ali Furlong our School Game Organiser presented our award during today's assembly.
