Lent is the 40 days leading up to Easter and a time for Christians to give up something or do something positive to make a difference to their life and the world around them. Lent begins this year on Ash Wednesday, 2nd March.

Mario's Mega Haircut:
Mario has been growing his hair so that he can donate it to the Little Princess Trust - they will use the hair to make a wig for a child with cancer.  He is also trying to raise money for the charity through sponsorship.  He was inspired by Mrs Rudge who did the same thing a few years ago, so last year Mario made a commitment to do the same.  If anyone would like to sponsor Mario they can do online via his Just Giving page or I would be happy to collect donations.  Here is the link:  https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/mariosmegahaircut  You can find out more about the charity on their website:  Little Princess Trust (littleprincesses.org.uk)

If you need any more information just let me know.

These take place from 2.45pm with different children sharing their learning on a rota each week (please see attached). We look forward to seeing some of you in the coming weeks. If you would like to attend the assembly, please could you email the office so we can monitor numbers of parents attending. Please ensure if logging in from home that you sign in in the desired format and have cameras and microphones off from the start.  The link is the same as has been available since September, and can be reused each week.

Morning Club
Following the success of our Christmas Club last term, Carlie has once agreed to run 3 sessions in the lead up to Easter as part of our early morning club. The sessions will be held on 18th March, 25th March and 1st April from 8am. The cost for all 3 sessions will be £10.
Two of the sessions will focus on Easter activities and 25th will be a Mothers Day (or special lady) focus. We are currently planning the activities to keep them simple but fun for the children. As before, any adult help will be greatly appreciated so we can allow more children to attend.

To secure a place for your child please email in and send £10 in a named and labelled envelope - Easter Club - by Wednesday 9th March. Places will be reserved on a first come basis but hopefully we will be able to welcome all who wish to join the fun!
