Bentley Weekly Update

Paying by Cheque – Due to the end of the financial year and banking restrictions, please be aware that we will not be able to take any more cheque payments now until after Easter. Thank you for your understanding.

A Muddy Request from Mrs Rudge - Dear all, I am looking for "willing volunteers" to take part in a sponsored event to raise money for Bentley Primary School by getting sponsored to take part in a muddy run on 16th June or 16th September. There are 6 km and 12 km runs with obstacles (you can choose on the day whether to do one lap or 2 laps, which would be the full 12 km) and a 3km Family Run (only on 16th September) which can also be entered by children from the age of 6 to run with their parents. See website link for more details and to register for The Black Ditch or Family Run: https://splatquack.com/

Our IT equipment needs updating and we would use the money to enhance what we have in our IT budget for renewals, enabling us to be more IPads or laptops. Myself, Linsey Wright (Livvy's Mum) and Mark Schofield (ex parent and ex Governor) have already signed up for 16th June, so please let me know if you are game enough to join us, once you have registered. I know there are quite a few runners out there amongst the parents and staff who might join us. If not, I hope you might sponsor our efforts of crawling through mud! Thank you.

Swimming Gala - All children in years 2-4 will be taking part in a swimming gala on Monday afternoon between 1pm and 3pm at the First Strokes pool at Oakland Hall. They will all need a packed lunch, drinks and snacks as well as their swimming kit. Parents are welcome to come along and watch.

Sports Relief – As you will have seen previously, Sports Relief is being celebrated on Wednesday 21st March. Children can wear sports clothes in return for a £1 donation and parents are invited to learn a dance with year 5/6 and Mrs Robinson at 9am on the morning! Do come along and join us if you can.

Governor Questionnaire – The Governor Questionnaire is now live and can be found at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/TRZXDTH

Gymnastics Competition – If your child is in the year 1/2 gymnastics team, they need to be at school at 8:15am on Friday please. All children in the gymnastics competition will need a packed lunch on the day.
