Shared Learning

Thank for attending shared learning this afternoon, we hope that you found it useful and enjoyed sharing your child's learning.

We have some exciting sporting opportunities coming up this term.  It is busy and there are some changes so please take time to read the details below - if you have any questions, please contact the office

PE this term

There will be no PE on the field this term, so children do not need to wear PE kit on a Monday any longer, unless they are taking part in football club on a Monday lunchtime and Reception who have football after lunch. (Children can just bring a change of footwear if preferred)

Instead we are taking advantage of the sporting facilities in the area and we will be taking Years 3 to 6 to Copdock Tennis club on a Thursday morning for tennis lessons for the next 4 weeks. They will be taken in the minibus and a member of staff will be remaining with them.  Please can children wear PE kit on a Thursday for this term.

Sports day

A reminder that Sports Day is on Tuesday 20th June, families are welcome to join us for the afternoon.  Children will be having a picnic lunch at 12.00pm, if you have not ordered your child a lunch from our caterers please ensure that they have a packed lunch for that day.

To prepare the children for this we will be having a practice at the field on Thursday afternoon (15th).  Adders and Hedgehogs children will walk to the field after lunch, Wolves children will be taken in the minibus. Please can parents collect their child from the school field at the end of the day.  Adders parents please let us know if your child can walk to their normal meeting place from the field.  After School children will be taken to After School Club as usual.

There will be no Stay and Play on Thursday 16th afternoon.

Football lunch club

Football club will continue at lunchtime on a Monday this term - remember to send children in PE or trainers to change in to kit if they are taking part.

Chance to shine cricket

Again, we are taking the opportunity to share some sporting coaching in the community; All children will be having some cricket coaching on the morning of Friday 16th June.  Please can they wear PE kit for Friday just for this week.  This will take place on the school field.

After school sports club

This term's after school PE club will be for  Yrs 1-3 on a Tuesday - dates June 13^th & 27th, July 4^th and 11th.  It will based on team games.  If your child would like to take part, please email the office.

To re-cap on the wearing of PE kit next week -

Monday - children attending football club at lunch and reception children can wear PE kit or just bring a change of trainers - all other children full uniform

Tuesday - all children PE kit

Wednesday - all children full uniform

Thursday - all children PE kit

Friday - all children PE kit

New children Teddy Bear Picnic

We are looking forward to seeing our new children next Friday afternoon - the weather is looking sunny - don't forget your Teddy, please can parents complete the data form if you have not already done so.
