Important Information to Share

Gymnastics Taster on Monday
Children enjoyed their gymnastics taster sessions on Monday.  The after school club will be going ahead after Christmas on a Monday from 3.20pm to 4.20pm.  It will start on Monday 15th January for 10 weeks.  The cost is £40 for the 10 weeks.  Unfortunately due to space in the hall we are just offering this club to Years R to 4. There are 16 places available.  Please can you complete the Gymnastics Form to book your child's place. Payment can be made from Monday via cash, cheque or spider.
 
Other Clubs
We will be offering sports themed clubs on a Tuesday lunchtime and Tuesday afterschool run by Ipswich Town Football Club - more details to follow once we have them.
 
Worship Group on Tuesday
 
Change of lunch- Monday 11th December
Please note it will be turkey mince instead of beef mince - please discuss with your child so they can pick the meal that they would prefer.
 
Performance Tickets - these will be sent home with your child on Monday - available tickets will be allocated once the booking closes at mid-day today.  Please only attend if you have a ticket; due to fire regulations; we cannot have any more people in the hall or the church than tickets allocated.
 
Friday 15th December - All children will be spending the start of the morning at the Church for a Christmas Experience - please drop children off at the church where they will be met by staff. As previously, to ensure that the road is not blocked, please drop off your child and continue along the road. Children will be transported back to school on the minibus or by staff car after the event. Please let the office know if you are using morning club that morning.
 
Thank you  to all the parents who have assisted us in the cake club and craft club this term, it has been much appreciated and was enjoyed by the children. Also a big thank you to Sandra for all her work in buying the ingredients, and cooking the cakes as well as helping the children each week.  We will put photos on the gallery later
 
Lost Property - there are still a large amount of lost property in the tub - mostly PE hoodies - I will leave these in the Hall for everyone to check on Friday at the PTA fair.  Please check if your child has lost any items of clothing.  As we cannot store clothing, anything left at the end of term will be donated to a chairty shop.  Uniform items will be kept as spares in school. 
Please can you check that your child has not brought home anotther child's cardigan recently and lastly please ensure all clothing, uniform and and PE kit is named.

 ðŸŽ„ Christmas Dates 🎄

Tuesday 12th December - KS2 Christmas Performance -  6pm at church - tickets will be sent home on Monday. Please do not attend without a ticket. Please take a torch with you as there are no street lights and the outside of church is very dark.

Thursday 14th December - KS1 Christmas Performance at school 2.30pm and 6pm, tickets will be sent home on Monday.  Please do not attend without a ticket

Tuesday 19th December -  Christmas Lunch - if you have not ordered your child a Christmas lunch, please send your child in with a packed lunch, children can wear a Christmas jumper on that day instead of their uniform cardigan or sweatshirt.

 

 

REMINDERS!!!!

Please share you views as part of the National Campaign - The Big Ambition. Every week we encourage parents to support their children to learn and use new vocabulary. In school we will be exploring the origin of new words, what they mean and how to use them effectively in context. If you can encourage your child to use these words it would be really helpful!
