Uniform for next year
As some of you will be preparing for next year, we thought it would be helpful to remind you of our simple uniform expectations. All parents are expected to provide the correct items as detailed on the website and attached to this email. Please support your child.
Talent Show 7th July
Don't forget to confirm any additional talent show tickets and ice lollies today please.
Don't forget your ticket on the day. (These will be sent out early next week via your child). Audience should arrive at 12:40pm ready for a prompt start. Collection for everyone is from the Village Hall at 3:30pm.
Sharing Assembly
As the Talent show is in the afternoon, sharing assembly will be at 9am on Friday 7th
Year 4 Sleepover Friday 14th July - Saturday 15th July
A reminder of the Year 4 sleepover letter sent to Year 4 parents yesterday. Please read and complete the form.
Quadkids - 4th (Y5/6) + 6th July (Y3/4)
Further to recent emails, a reminder of the two Quad Kid events at Northgate Sports centre next week. Don't forget we will be bringing children back to Copdock School for collection at approx 5.30pm, unless you are attending the event. If you have not yet sent in your slip to indicate this we will assume that you are collecting from Copdock and will bring the children back.
Y2 STEM event
A reminder of the Yr 2 STEM visit on 13th July
Year 2 children will be going to Suffolk One on 13th July, where they will be welcomed along with over 275 children from 8 different schools. The children will have the opportunity to work with around 13 businesses and organisations, engaging in a range of practical hands-on activities with a STEM theme.
The children will need a packed lunch and drinks bottle please. Collection will be as usual for the end of the school day. This trip is covered by the consent you filled in at the start of the year.
Elections for School Council and Head Pupils
In the last week of term, we will be voting pupils into our leadership roles. If your child wants to stand, please support them to prepare a short speech explaining how they would meet the requrements of the role by Monday 17th July. Information about the roles can be found here.
Leavers assembly
All are welcomed to our leavers assembly on 20th July, 9am at St Mary's church. We will be awarding our end of year trophies to children throughout the school as well as celebrating our Year 6 contributions to school life.
Adders Pleasurewood Hills Trip
Please ensure all slips and money is in by Monday 3rd July. If you have paid online, please ensure that you still send in the slip with your child on Monday.
