Important Information to Share

 
Menu for next term - Please find attached the menu starting after half term from our Catering Provider - we start on week One
 
Shared learning - Friday 3rd November - please see arrangements below to ease congestion:
If you have two or more children please arrive at 2.30pm, you are invited into the hall. Please can you take one child at a time for 10 minutes each so this will give you the opportunity to talk with your child individually then send them back to class. 
 
If you have one child, please arrive at 2.50pm,  you will be invited into your child's classroom to spend 10 minutes looking through their learning with them. 
 
We will then be able to finish by 3.05pm to meet you on the playground for collection at 3.15pm. 
 
At this event, we are asking that younger siblings do not attend due to the physical space. If you are unable to come to the event during 2.30-3.05pm, you are welcome to come in at 3.15pm after school to look through your child's learning
 

Activity Week - The children had a lovely time this week, please see the website and our Facebook page for photos of what the children have been experimenting with this week

Please see the dates below for the next half term.  Details on how to book your parent consultations will be shared via weekly news after half term - please ensure you can log into the website as you will need access to book them.

 
 

REMINDERS!!!!

Christmas Cake Club - If you have signed up your child for this, please could you ensure that payment is made today if you have not paid already, thank you

Dinners - please ensure all KS2 dinners are paid for before returning after half term.

Morning Club - Please could morning club be paid for before returning after half term.

Christmas Craft Club - we have only had a couple of children who are interested in this, if your child does want to take part, please could you let us know by Monday 30th, currently it is not viable to run.

Year 6 high school applications - these need to be completed by the end of October - please refer to the letter you received previously, or Suffolk County Council website.
A gentle reminder for parents/carers who have not yet applied for a secondary school place for your child that you must apply by the closing date of Tuesday 31 October 2023
 
Shoe box appeal - items will be gratefully received until Friday 3rd November.  See link for suggested items.  Thank you!

Every week we encourage parents to support their children to learn and use new vocabulary. In school we will be exploring the origin of new words, what they mean and how to use them effectively in context. If you can encourage your child to use these words it would be really helpful!

Tuesday 31st October - PTA Halloween Disco after school

Friday 3rd November - shared learning session for parents during assembly time 2.45-3.15pm - see above for details

Friday 10th November - School photos

Friday 10th November - Remembrance Service 11am at the Memorial - all families welcome to join us.

Wednesday 22nd November - yr 3 & 4 visit to Museum in Sudbury - letter to follow after half term

Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd Parent consultation evenings - information to follow

Thursday 23rd November - flu immunisations
