Learners of the week

End of term

As the end of the year approaches please remember to send in any library books, reading books, sports kits, maths bags

Please also remember to settle up any dinner monies and morning club owed. Please contact the office if you are unsure of the balance owed.

All medication will be returned to you on the last day of term to be checked, renewed for September. Please ensure that you collect these from your child's teacher.

Leaver's photo in paper

Please see details from Ipswich Star detailing when the leaver's photo will be featured in the paper next week.

Key Stage 1 walk around the village

Children in reception, year 1 and year 2 will be going for a village walk on Wednesday morning, please see the letter sent yesterday for details.

Year 2 Trip

Year 2 are visiting Suffolk One on Thursday, they need smart uniform and a packed lunch please.

Year 4 Sleepover

Year 4 sleep over is on Friday, please read the letter sent out earlier for the list of clothes etc that children need.

Year 6 leavers event at the church

Year 6 will be attending Bentley Church along with Copdock year 6 children on Friday mornng for 'its your move' followed by a talk back at school by the mental health team.

They will walk to and from the church with staff. 

Yr 5/6 Bikeabilty

A reminder that next week some Yr 5 / 6 children are taking part in Bikeabilty - please read the letter again that was sent out to remind you of what is needed for the two days, the bike checks and the cycle helmet needed. Please ensure that children wear clothing suitable for riding bikes and the weather.

Leavers Assembly 20th July

All are welcome, the Leavers Assembly starts at 9am, all children are to be dropped off at church for 8.45am as usual. We will be organising a drop off as previously so no need to park unless staying at service. It will last approx until 10am when we will walk back to school. 

   ??END OF YEAR BBQ?? Thursday 20th July 17:00 to 19:00 

Everyone is invited

Join us to help celebrate the end of an amazing  school year where the children have worked so hard and achieved so much. We will also be saying goodbye to our year 6 pupils and wishing them well for their move up to high school and welcoming our new Bentley bunny’s. All friends and family are welcome.   We thought it would be lovely to open the event with as many pupils as possible performing the ‘leavers song’.  They will be practicing this at school so it should be a great performance.  We hope lots of families will support this by bringing their children along to perform. 

We will have a BBQ and a Bar 

Price list for the evening Burger - £3, Hot dog - £3, Pimms -£2.50, Can of beer -£2,Fruit drink or water - 50p. Fizzy can -£1 

We are selling tickets for the evening 

Adult tickets £5  includes - A alcohol drink & burger or hot dog. 

Child tickets £4 includes - A soft drink & burger or hot dog and a pack of crisps. 

***Adults who do not want to have a alcohol drink you can order a child’s ticket ***

We are doing tickets to help with ordering in food & drink but tickets are not essential you can just turn up and enjoy the evening. 

The bbq will be open firstly to everyone who has brought tickets and after that we will open up to anyone else who on the night fancies food, but we  won’t be able to guarantee food for those who haven’t brought tickets. 

Tickets can be purchased from the pta or email school office.  

• when booking tickets please let us know of any dietary requirements eg vegan/ vegetarian / gluten free etc *

We really hope to see lots of you there, it’s a lovely way to finish off the school year.
