Bentley Weekly Update 05/03/21

Congratulations to every single one of you! You have made it through another school lockdown and children and parents alike should feel very proud of the superb learning that has been going on at home.

Return to School - Hopefully you have all read the letter that was emailed out on Tuesday about the safe return to school on Monday 8th March. Click here to be taken to the letter on the website. Here are a few things for you to remember:

Masks must be worn by parents / guardians at both drop of and collection times please (unless medically exempt)

Distance between families must be observed

Adders arrival time 8:45am - collection time 3:10pm

Hedgehogs arrival time 8:50am - collection time 3:10pm

Wolves arrival time 8:55am - collection time 3:20pm

Warm layers should be worn as we still need to have windows and doors open for ventilation, so classrooms may be a bit cooler than usual

Uniform is to be worn (except for PE days) but trainers instead of school shoes

PE will be on Tues & Thur for Adders, Mon & Weds for Hedgehogs, and Mon & Thur for Wolves. Children will need to come in to school already in PE kit on these days please.

Could all children bring in their brain sticker charts on Monday please, we would like to celebrate this in school. Make sure your reading diary/ log book is up-to-date with your reading so we can update the Reading Challenge charts in school too!

Easter Bonnets - Hoorah, we are still carrying on this tradition this year! If your child would like to make an Easter Bonnet / Hat we will be having a little virtual 'parade' in the classes during the class assemblies on Friday 26th March. We can't wait to see your creativity.

Wolves - Wolves class all need to bring in a cereal box or shoe box to make a Tudor house on MONDAY please.

Hedgehogs - Please remember to either upload on the homework tab your reading activity for today, or email it in.

Adders - Please read the email Mrs Robinson sent out earlier this week about bringing in various pieces of writing. Also, don't forget your flute!!!

Have a wonderful weekend and we are all sincerely so excited about seeing you all on Monday!
