Bentley Prayer Space Day

On 10th March, all of the children at Bentley had the chance to experience out pop up prayer space in a gazebo on the playground, which caused great excitement! The children had chance to write a ‘please’ prayer for something they needed help with as a ‘HELP’ message in a bottle. The children had the opportunity to reflect on what they were thankful at home, at school, with their friends and what they were thankful for in terms of animals and food. They made a ‘thankyou’ flower and had the opportunity to take home a daffodil and give it to someone they were thankful for.  Finally, they heard a story about being forgiven and forgiving others from the bible. They had a chance to think about someone they needed to forgive or who needed to forgive them that they could draw in the sand, and then wipe away the person as they ‘wiped the slate clean’.

A big thank you to Miss Wilding and the CYM team for putting our prayer space day together.

Bentley School's Christian Ethos

"Know that I am with you always," Matthew 28:20 We encourage the spiritual, social, moral and cultural development of the school family by embedding Christian values into everyday life. Our vision is for all children to be confident individuals, successful learners and responsible citizens who are well equipped for future life, knowing that God is with them always.
