Woodpeckers Thursday 21st May

Date: 20th May 2020 @ 9:38pm

Good morning Woodpeckers 😊

How are you all? I hope you have been outside enjoying the beautiful weather.

I loved catching up on the discussion page and seeing your brilliant learning so far this week. I will look forward to seeing some more over the next couple of days.

It was lovely speaking to some of you yesterday, we really do miss you all and so proud of how hard you are all working! Mrs Collins and I will finish our calls today so please remind your parents to answer if it is a withheld number.

Today’s learning:

Reading: Year 3 - Layers of the Ocean and Year 4 - Gladiators

Writing: Looking after your pet, choose a pet of your choice and it doesn’t need to be a pet of your own. Write a set of instructions for how to look after it. Remember to write instructions you will need to include some of these features: title, sub-headings, a clear list of equipment you will need, simple steps for each action in the method, imperative verbs (bossy verbs), bullet points or numbered steps, diagrams with labels and top tips.

Practise your spellings on spelling shed.

Maths – Year 3 - Multiply and divide by 3 and Year 4 – Divide by 3-digit by 1-digit number.

Topic – Time to talk activity.

If you have any questions throughout the day please get in touch on our weekly discussion page. Remember to get some fresh air and downtime as well.

Have a lovely day Woodpeckers,

Mrs North 😊
