Woodpeckers Monday 18th May

Date: 16th May 2020 @ 3:07pm

Happy Monday Woodpeckers.

I do hope you had a super weekend- what did you all get up to? I had a Saturday spring clean of the house (so not very exciting really!) but i actually enjoy cleaning (strange I know!) so it was a nice day for me.

This weeks Home Learning theme is Animals- my favourite so far. Mrs North and I have created some really nice activities for you to complete and we can't wait to see some of your examples in the weekly discussion page. Thank you again to those of you who have uploaded examples- so nice to see.

Today's learning is on the front sheet of your packs and I have included a copy of this below in case you have lost it or are at another house.

Your Maths today is: Year 3- Convert Pounds and Pence Y4- Multiply 2-digit by 1-digit numbers.

Reading Comprehension is: Y3- All about Palm oil, Y4- Who were the Romans.

As always the answer sheets are attached below for you to use and check your work. The Fluent in Five has been saved as a weekly document for you to use this week.

The writing activity is to research an endangered animal. Here is a link you may want to use to choose your endangered animal and find some key facts:

Have a lovely day and I will be checking the Weekly Discussion page throughout the day.

Take Care- Miss you all!
