Good afternoon Woodpeckers!

This week your homework is to spot the four different sentence types in your text (statements, questions, commands and explanations) and then to correctly punctuate the sentences. Also, try the Challenge Yourself task when you are reading.

This afternoon we had fun exploring this website Times tables games - Learn them all here!

Please do keep logging on to this site at home, where you can practise your times tables, play some fun games and have a go at a multiplication check.

Also, we have sent out with our first lucky Woodpecker, our reading box. This is a chance for you to share the special book with a grown-up at home, whilst enjoying a hot chocolate! Please write your review of our book in the red exercise book and don't forget to return the reading box by next Friday (or before if possible)
