Wolves weekly blog for week beginning 7.9.20

Date: 4th Sep 2020 @ 6:01pm

I hope you had a lovely weekend.  We are delighted to have Reception children in part time this week to join Wolves class.

The children in Year 1 and 2 have been given reading books and we will be checking their reading diaries on a Friday.  If they have 5 reads written in (from Friday to Friday) they collect a sticker for their chart.

If anyone has any books about planet Earth or the Solar System they would like to bring into school this week, we can then sanitise them and leave them for 2 days before using.  We will be wriitng leaflets about Earth over the next few weeks.

PE kit needs to be worn Mondays and Thursdays.

Homework -

MONDAY Year 2 need to do the first double page in their phonics book tonight pages 2 amd 3. Year 1 have no homework today but will have tomorrow night. Try to keep their books in their book bag every day if you can, but we will check all of them on a Friday and read any parent comments written on the pages they have completed.  Please do not let your child do extra pages, as the page they have been given links to what we have taught in school that day.  I will add to this blog every day so you know which pages to do on which day, so you do need to look every day after school to see what you need to complete that evening.

TUESDAY Year 2 pages 4,5.  Year 1 page 2.

WEDNESDAY Year 2 pages 6,7.  Year 1 page 3.

THURSDAY Year 2 pages 8,9.  Year 1 page 4.  Please have your books in school tomorrow as we will look at them in class.  There will be no homework over the weekend except reading.

Next week we are looking at Baptism, if anyone has been christened, could they send in photos, baptism candle, presents, gowns etc.
