Wolves 2.5.22

Date: 2nd May 2022 @ 4:48pm

Dear parents,

I hope you had a lovely bank holiday weekend. This week, in wolves, we are exploring further our topics of living things, and Kenya. We will be researching safari animals in Year 1 and 2, ready to write about them in English. Reception children are reading and working from the book Elmer, retelling the story and creating their own character and story.

In maths, reception children will be exploring making different numbers up to 20 and making some 3D shapes with cubes. Year 1 will be consolidating use of coins, and Year 2 will be finding change. We will then start describing positions and directions.

Our learning behaviour of the week is 'tune in- concentrate' and our value is 'Friendship'.

Vocabulary words this week are 'thrive' and 'depend'

Spelling words will be tested on Tuesday afternoon.
