Wolves 24.5.21

Date: 21st May 2021 @ 5:01pm

This week our learning behaviour is Improve and learn from your mistakes.

Vocabulary:

Y1&2: predator, prey, debug

EY: torn repair

This week we will be looking at food chains of Australian animals and the himan features of Australia.  We will be sharing our learning with 2 of the Governors via Teams.  We have a class assembly the first Friday after half term to share with parents too.

In PSHE we are looking at what to do if you get lost and how to cross the road safely.  Please talk to your child about what to do if they get lost and teach them their address and surname, learning your mobile phone number may be a challenge!  If you are walking down the road to school and out for a walk, see if they can demonstrate what they have learnt about road safety.

There will be a spelling test on Friday and then I will send home the Y1 words that they should be able to spell now, that they have been having for tests, as I will test them again after half term on the first Friday back.  This will give you a chance to see which ones they got wrong last time and practise these again.  Y2 can practise the spellings in their keyword packets over half term.

I look forward to speaking to you all on Wednesday or Friday for our consultation meetings where we will be talking about how you can best support your child over the next half term.

Have a lovely half term when it comes!
