Wolves 18.7.22

Date: 17th Jul 2022 @ 7:40pm

Thank you so much for attending Wolves sharing assembly on Friday, your support was very much welcomed, and I hope you agree that they did a great job of presenting our learning. It is now our final week (3 days)  before the end of the school year!

Your children have worked really hard this year, and after we've enjoyed our final 3 days, I hope they have a good rest and you all have a lovely  summer.

This week:

Monday - All children to be in PE kits Monday and there is no swimming.

School Council Elections - Monday 18th July, at 9am.

School Council Elections:

We will be holding School Council elections so if your child has put themselves forward, please do speak to your children about the role and on the skills required to fulfil it well.  The children will need to deliver a speech to the whole school explaining why they will be a good candidate for this position.

Tuesday - Please drop your child at the church for the Leavers Service. We will be walking the children back to school afterwards.

Wednesday- the last day of term for the children!

Reminders:

Maths Bags

Please can any maths bags be returned to class.

Library Books

Most have been returned already, but if you do still have any school books at home, please could you send them in with your child.

Handwriting: If you would like to practise handwriting over the holidays, I have attached some handwriting activity sheets grouped in 'families' of similar formation. These are particularly useful for children in reception, but others may benefit from them too.

I would like to take this opportunity to say how much I have enjoyed my term here, at Bentley, and how much I shall miss all the children next year.  Thank you for all your  support this year, and I wish you and your wonderful children all the best for the next academic year.

Have a fabulous break,

Mrs McCart
