Half term homework-

Yr 1- Please complete the digraph sheets; 1 each day if you can. I have also included a set of phase 3 digraphs so please cut these up and play hide 7 seek, treasure hunts with them etc.  Practise writing them when you find them. Also, please practise Year 1 words stuck in the front of homework books as I will be testing children on these after half term. .

Yr 2- Please practise spelling Year 1 words as I will test after half term. If your child masters these then move on to Year 2 words: these are stuck in the front of homework books. I have also provided a set of phase 5 graphemes so please cut these up and play hide & seek, treasure hunts etc and when your child finds them, write them down.  We need to practise writing the graphemes.

Most children are finding it difficult to count to 100 and cross a multiple of 10 correctly so lots of counitng would be great- in the car, walking etc.

Thanks for supporting at home and have a good week

Heidi
