Hi Kittens,
I hope you had a lovely and restful weekend!
This week in Maths Reception will be exploring one more/one less than a number up to 5, as well as shapes with 4 sides. Year 1 will be exploring 2d and 3d shapes. In English we are carrying on with our writing based on the book 'All Aboard the London Bus'.
We will be learning all about the Jewish holiday Hannukah, why it is celebrated and how it is celebrated in Jewish families.
The Year 1 spellings this week are:
- even
- grew
- shield
- draw
- want
These are also on Edshed for you to practise.
A couple of reminders:
- Thursday is dress down day in exchange for something for the Christmas Fayre
- Friday is the tree service where we will be making decorations to hang up in the hall
