Hello Kittens!

Welcome to another exciting week of learning. Last week was National Science Week and we did some great investigations including turning milk into cheese! The children didn't like the smell though.

This week, Year 1 and Year 2 will be cooking a meal as part of their science, PHSE and DT curriculum.  Year 1 and Year 2 children will have the opportunity to stay afterschool on Tuesday and enjoy their meal they have prepared and cooked in their classroom restaurant! Pick up will be 4pm, so if your child would like to stay please let the office know.

We have also been learning about castles, castle life and how they defended themselves in preparation for our Colchester Castle trip.  Please viisit Curricuulum Visions with your child where there are lots of books/videos about castles.  I will keep you updated about details of the trip.
