Hi Kittens,

I hope you had a fabulous weekend! Last week children in Reception became Scientists and made potions in pumpkins. It was very exciting, as you can see below!

We also had Harvest Festival on Thursday and I was very impressed with how beautifully everyone joined in.

This week in English we will be continuing our writing using the book Rosie's Walk. In Maths reception will be representing numbers 1,2,3 and Year 1 will be continuing with addition within 10.

Spellings this week for Year 1 are: rabbit, better, pocket, carrot and farmer. These are also on edshed should you wish to practise on there.

Carry on with your 5 reads, I wonder if we can win the class reading challenge this week!

A couple of reminders:

Sweets are not allowed in packed lunches and all reading books need to be handed in on a Thursday. This is so we can check in the old books and log out the new ones :)

Lets have an amazing last week before the half term holidays :)
