Kittens 16.09.22

Date: 16th Sep 2022 @ 9:40pm

Hi Kittens,

Our learning behaviour for this week is 'work hard'. Remember, when we work hard our brains grow! I wonder what challenges you'll take in your learning this week.

As the weather is beginning to get chilly please remember to bring in a coat, as we spend a lot of time outside.

Reminders

Every child has been sent home with a book to read for pleasure. Please read to your child every day to encourage that love of reading!

This week children in Year 1 will be starting guided reading and their book will come home with them on Friday.

Homework for Reception children is to complete the phonics worksheet and go over the graphemes (sounds) provided in the pouch. How many can you remember?

Homework for Year 1 is to complete the phonics worksheet and practise their spellings. This can be accessed on the edshed website - www.edshed.com where the children can play fun games to practise their spellings. In your reading diary are the login instructions. If you cannot access this the spellings are the following; feel, right, food, hard, sort, took, down, hear, light, zoom.

Have a lovely weekend with your family and see you on Tuesday.

Mrs Atkins :)
