Bonjour Kittens!

Welcome to another week of learning, our last full week before the Summer holidays start! I hope you had a nice weekend.

It is a very busy week this week!

We will be saying hello again to our new Reception children on Friday. They will also be staying to lunch this week. I know you will make them feel very welcome again. Reception, you did a great job being their buddy last Friday. Thank you!

Our learning behaviour this week is enjoy your learning - try new things.

In Maths, we will be exploring shapes, both 2D and 3D.

In RE, we will be continue to explore the Jewish religion.

On Tuesday, we have our class swap morning. Miss Barton will be with us to take her new class. Very exciting!

Don't forget on Wednesday we are having our special Tudor Day. There are dressing up ideas on our Friday newsletters.

On Friday, we have our dress down day. Please bring in prize for the community fayre as a contribution.

Please continue to read at least 5 times a week. I will change books again on Thursday (15th) ready to issue Friday but will collect them in on the following Tuesday (our last day).

This week's spellings: our spelling rule this week is that ow can make ow as in cow and oa as in bow. These will be your last spellings before the Summer holiday.

For Maths, please complete your ordering numbers sheet.

Reception

Please continue to read at least 5 times a week. I will change books again on Thursday (15th) ready to issue Friday but will collect them in on the following Tuesday (our last day).

You might like to play this reading game to help you to see and read the words that include the digraphs and trigraphs we have been learning.

Please continue to learn your tricky words. Ask your grown-ups to look at the link to find some fun ways to help you learn them.

You will find new spellings in your quiz book. Learn them over the week ready for your spelling quiz on Friday. These will be your last spellings before the Summer holiday.

You can find 'My learning this week' for last week at the bottom of this page.

Let's have another great week of learning!

Best wishes,

Mr Ross :-)
