Hi Kittens, 

I hope you have had a lovely weekend and enjoyed the sunshine! 

Our learning behaviour of the week is: 'Enjoy learning' and our value is 'Thankfulness'

Words of the week: Reception: 'empty' and 'full' Year 1: 'observe' and 'compare'.

Reminders:

Monday - Wear PE Kit

Tuesday - Reception children have a football session with a qualified coach - PE kit is NOT needed for this. Reception stay and play at 2:40pm. 

Wednesday - Family Welcome sessions 6pm-7pm

Thursday - Wear PE kit

Friday -  First homework being set. Please bring in reading log ready to check for 5 reads (this can be any form of reading for pleasure). 

 

Homework

This Friday we will set the first of this years homework. This will be due in on the following Friday. An outline of the homework tasks will a wilso be found here on the blog, as well as stuck in homework books. 

 

Reading Logs

Your child will be given books today to help them acheive their 5 reads, which is part of our 'reading giants' challenge. Please read with your child (this can be ANY book, comic, Cbeebies bedtime story etc...) and sign their reading record (orange book). We will then check for the 5 reads on the following Friday.
