Welcome back Hedgehog families,

We hope you had a lovely weekend. 

Our learning behaviour of the week is, 'Enjoy Your Learning - Try New Thingsf' and our value is 'Perseverance'. 

Words of the week: 'civilisation' and 'society'. Year 2 word - 'significant'.

This half term, Years 3 and 4 will be learning about Ancient Egyptians in history and Year 2 will be learning about significant individuals who have been to space, exploring who they are and what they achieved. They will be learning about Neil Armstong, Mae Jemison, Bernard Harris Jr and Tim Peake. ?

Reminders:

PE kits Tuesdays for Year 2,3 and 4, swimmings kits for Monday for Year 3 and 4 and for all children to wear school uniform on Monday.

Monday - Swimming begins for Years 3 and 4. 

Tuesday - Dance club begins

Homework Due in Friday 13th January

  1. TTR 3 x a week for 10 minutes each session.
  2. Practise weekly and half termly spellings on Spelling Shed at least 4 x 10 minutes a week.
  3. Complete the CGP Reading Comprehension, refer to your child's logbook for the pages to complete.
  4. Complete 5 reads and parents to sign ready for Friday.
