Good morning Hedgehogs,

I hope you had a lovely weekend.

Our learning behaviour of the week is, 'Work Hard' and our value is 'Trust'. 

Vocabulary words this week are: 'role' and 'select'.

This week we will be finishing our learning about the importance of Remembrance Day. In DT, we will be learning about what pneumatic toys are and how they function. As scientists, we will be learning about what magnets are,classifying materials into non-magnetic and magnetic and how they attract and repel. In maths, we will be completing a Place Value assessment and moving onto addition and subtraction.   

Reminders:

Shared Learning - Wednesday 17th November, you are welcome in at 2.45pm to look through your child's books and complete a a form that you can highlight any specific area(s) of the curriculum which you would like me to discuss with you at parents evening.  

Remote Parents Evening - Thursday 18th November 3.30-5.30pm or Wednesday 24th November 5 -7.00pm please refer to the email that was sent in regards to signing up to a slot. 

Children In Need - Friday 19th November, children can come to school in their PJ's to raise money for Children In Need. Children need to bring a £1 to take part. 

It is also Anti-Bullying Week and the theme is to say one kind word.

Swimming kits for Monday and PE kits for Friday   Football Club - Thursday

Homework Due in Monday  22nd November

  1. Complete Workout 5 of the CGP weekly maths and arithmetic books.
  2. TTR twice a week for 10 minutes. 
  3. Practise weekly and half termly spellings on Spelling Shed 3 x 10 minutes a week.
  4. Complete 5 reads and parents to sign ready for Friday.
