Hello Hedgehogs, 

We hope you had a lovely weekend.  

Our learning behaviour this week is 'Tune in'.

Our vocabulary words are 'religious' and 'being'

Monday - Spelling test.

Year 4 swimming - please make sure your child brings in their swimming kit. Year 3 PE with Mrs Hicks. 

Tuesday - New spellings given out.  

Big sing - On Tuesday 15th June we will be taking part in the 'Big Sing' where schools across the country are joining together online to sing and sign to 'Lovely day'. 

Wednesday - Homework. Please practise the song and signs at home. You can find the lyrics in your child's homework book and this link takes you to the video with the signs.

PE kit on - long hair tied up, suncream and hats needed please!

Friday - 5 reads will be checked so please make sure the children's log books are signed and there is a times table test so please ensure your child is practising their tables everyday. 

TTRockstars - Please make sure your child is continuing to practise their multiplication recall on TTR. 

We finally have summer weather, so please can you make sure your child has their water bottles in everyday, hats and suncream.

This week we will be starting our new Topic of Romans called 'Why Rome wasn't Built in a Day!'  If you have anything that could support our topic, please let us know.

Curriculum Maps are on the topic page of our class page on the website as well as attached below. This week we will be finding out who the Romans were and what it was like to live in Rome during Roman times.
