Welcome Hedgehog families,
We hope you had a lovely weekend and the Year 4 Hedgehogs have now recovered after a fun sleepover.
Our learning behaviour of the week is 'Try New Things' and our value is 'Respect'.
Vocabulary words this week are: 'algorithm' and 'permanent'.
Reminders:
PE kits Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, swimming kits for those who need to bring it in on Monday.
Thursday Sports Day Practise - Please make sure you drop your child at the school field at normal time in the morning. The children will need to be wearing their PE kits, sun hats and sun cream, a drinks bottle and a packed lunch if they are having one. They will not need their school bag this day. We will then walk back to school before lunchtime.
Friday - PTA ice cream, please make sure you have placed your order.
Homework Due in Friday 17th June
- Complete Spring Workout 11 of the CGP weekly maths and arithmetic books.
- TTR twice a week for 10 minutes or try Hit the Button https://www.topmarks.co.uk/maths-games/hit-the-button to practise their times tables.
- Practise spellings on Spelling Shed at least 3 x 10 minutes a week on weekly words and Year 3 and 4 statutory words – the children now have the final two columns of words to learn in their logbooks and I have assigned them to the children on Spelling Shed.
- Recognise and describe 2D shapes - Cut out and sort the 2D shapes into the correct boxes - sheet attached in the children's homework book.
- Complete 5 reads and parents to sign ready for Friday.
