Hedgehogs - Monday 6th July 2020

Date: 3rd Jul 2020 @ 12:06pm

Good Morning Hedgehogs!

Well done for all of your hard work on our topic of music. Hopefully you have found a new style of music you enjoy! Thank you for sharing your learning on the class discussion. It is great to see what you have been up to and you have certainly been busy!

The timetable and resources for this week are attached. This week our theme is ‘Transport’. Remember to try your best but if you cannot get everything done each day - do not worry! Aim to keep those key skills of maths, reading and a bit of writing going if you can.

Spellings for this week are more revision words. Have a go at the challenges and games on Spelling Shed to refresh your memory!

Monday’s Literacy Task – The Robot Maker

Try to answer the questions as fully as you can to begin thinking about the character shown below. Then write a detailed character description of The Robot Maker including a description of his clothes, appearance, personality, likes and dislikes.

  • What does this robot do?

  • Is the man building it or repairing it?

  • How does he feel about it? Is this one special?

  • Do you think he’s been a robot maker for a long time?

  • Is he good at his job?

  • What kind of person do you think he is? What are his likes/dislikes? Do you think he prefers to be around people, or be alone?
