Foxes Friday 17th July

Date: 17th Jul 2020 @ 8:07am

Good morning Foxes.

Today is the last day of home learning and the last day for year 6. It is sad to say goodbye without spending time all together as a class and without year 5 being there to see you on your way. I am sure they will miss you as much as I will.

Today's learning is a maths investigation, I hope these are stretching your brains. Its the way you reason and justify that is important.

In writing you need to do page 14 of your booklet. In reading you have a peer pressure quiz. The reading is the most important piece of learning today.

This afternoon year 5 you need to reflect on your learning and time at home. These need to come into school on Tuesday. The only learning to bring to school on Tuesday is your letter from yesterday and your reflection from this afternoon. Do not bring any other learning in. Please ask on the discussion page if you have any questions about this.

On our class page there is a tab about summer holiday learning for year 5 and 6 with some things you can be doing if you get some spare time. They are to cover the key areas of learning that you should know by the end of this year. It is so important to be practising these key skills regularly as well as keeping up with your spellings. This will help you settle back into your new year in September.

So have a great day and a fantastic weekend. Year 6 see you soon, year 5 see you on Tuesday.
