Foxes 6.9.21

Date: 5th Sep 2021 @ 7:03pm

Good morning Foxes

I hope you are all well and ready to start our learning this week.

PE days for our class will be Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please make sure you have appropriate clothing as we will be outside for this half term. Come into school on these days in your PE kits so you are ready to begin. Please remember earrings should not be worn.

Homework will be set on Tuesdays and will be due in the following Tuesday. We will also be doing our spelling test on Tuesdays too so ensure your spellings are practised thoroughly. I will make sure they are on Spelling Shed ready for you each Tuesday. Part of your homework is to read 5 times a week for ten minutes and have your diary signed by an adult to say this has been done. You do not have to read to an adult unless you choose to. Please also keep up with your times tables practise. You should know all your tables by now. There is no time to calculate tables in our learning so you should know them including the inverse.

In maths we are looking at powers of 10 including decimals. Our writing is based on The Journey by Francesca Sanna.

We will be looking at changes in East Anglia since the medieval times for our topic. Science is evolution and inheritance, so if you have any pictures of yourself when you were younger with your parents, it would be good to see them.

I had a lovely day with you all on Friday and I am looking forward to seeing how you grow into your new year groups.
