Foxes 25.4.22

Date: 22nd Apr 2022 @ 10:18am

Good morning Foxes and parents

I hope you have all had a lovely Easter break and managed to get out and about in all the lovely sunshine.

We have a very busy term ahead, which is only 5 weeks long and has a bank holiday so hopefully you all well rested and ready to start on Monday.

SATs begins the week of 9th May so this is our final real push for year 6. Hopefully the revision papers I sent home with you have highlighted any areas you are still not sure of. We will discuss these next week. We have Mrs Robinson and Bentley years 5/6 coming over Wednesday and Friday mornings to work with us.

Please be ready to let us know what areas you feel less confident in so we can plan in some extra work on these.

Thursday is the able maths day for the 4 year 6s, hopefully this will make you think hard.

Monday's PE is either tennis or swimming, you should know which one you are doing. If you are swimming please make sure you have the right kit with you and the slip has been sent in from your parents.Tuesday, you will all be doing athletics.

I have attached our timetable so you can see what we should be doing. All the year 5/6 spekllings are on Spelling Shed now so please make sure you practise these. The next column of the year 3/4 words are on there too for those of you that are working on these lists.

In DT this half term we will be making our own war time teddies. We need to start by exploring some existing ones. If you are happy to bring in a teddy from home for us to look at at Wednesday that would be really helpful. Please only bring teddies in not other cuddly toys. They can go straight home with you so they do not cause any mischief in school overnight.

Enjoy your weekend, see you on Monday.

Mrs Windmill
