Foxes 19.9.22

Date: 18th Sep 2022 @ 12:00pm

Good morning Foxes

I hope you are enjoying your weekends and looking forward to an extra day off to celebrate the life of our Queen.

As we are not in school on Monday there will be no football this week. However, please remember Joe reminding you to have spare socks in your bags for PE as it is not nice to sit with wet socks on all day, if the field is wet.

Our after school club will start next Monday now for KS2. Joe is focusing on tag rugby so we can take a team to join in the event with Northampton All Saints in Novemeber. Please come along is you wish to part of the event or just want to enjoy some tag rugby. The school will be funding it this term, as long as we have enough interest.

Our learning behaviour is 'work hard', so hopefully you will all be ready to do that!

I have attached our timetable for next week. Some things have been carried across from last week as we seem to have got a bit behind. With an extra day off we will all need to working hard this week.

Homework is due in on Wednesday. You should be practising column 1 of the year 5/6 spellings, which are all on Spelling Shed and in your diaries. I also expect everyone to have had their planners signed to show they have read 5 times over the week. I will be signing these on a Friday from next week although you should all have a week's worth to sign on Tuesday as well. Hopefully, everyone will have this done on time this week. You must put in what days and what you have read and then have this signed by a parent/adult please.

Finally, don't forget we need to know from parents/adults whether you will be attending the Young Voices event in London next February. We do need numbers quickly so we can make arrangements.

Don't forget you can check out the PGL site at Bawdsey Manor PGL Bawdsey Manor

Enjoy the rest of your weekend
