Foxes 11.7.22

Date: 10th Jul 2022 @ 2:23pm

Good afternoon Foxes.

As this is the last whole school week before the holidays, let's make it a good one!! Our learning behaviour is 'Don't give up'

It is going to be very hot so you will need your sun hats, suncream and water bottles in school all week.

Pleasure Wood Hills

On Wednesday at Pleasure Wood Hills we will be in the sun most of the day. It is non-uniform but you must wear appropriate and sensible clothing. Shorts should be to mid thighs and t shirts must cover your shoulders fully. You must also wear trainers, no open toed shoes will be allowed. You must also have a sun hat with you, sun cream and plenty to drink for the whole day. All in a bag that you can carry. It is very easy to unwell in extreme heat so you must think carefully what you will need.

Class swap

Friday is our class swap morning so we will have the current year 4s joining us and year 6 will be supporting the new children in reception.

If you have any maths bags or school reading books these need to be returned this week please.

School Council/Head Pupil elections

If you are in year 5 and want to run for school council you need to be ready to speak in assembly on Thursday. If you want to run as head pupil the elections are next Monday. It is also Bikeability for year 5 next Monday and Tuesday 18/19 July so please make sure you have had your bikes checked at home and have a helmet.

Swimming

Some of our current swimmers will have received an email to bring in shorts and t shirts as well as swimming kit for Monday. Please make sure you are aware if you are one of those children. If in doubt please bring in shorts and t shirts that can get wet.

Class treat

Hopefully we can have our class treat on Friday afternoon. I know some of you were hoping to get me wet in a water fight (I can't imagine why!!!) But we need to have a think about what else we would like to do, so come to school with some ideas.

Enjoy the rest of your day. I'm planning on watching the tennis at Wimbledon.
