Foxes 10.7.23

Date: 9th Jul 2023 @ 8:42am

Good morning Foxes

I hope you are enjoying your weekends.

Well done to everyone involved in the talent show on Friday, you were all amazing - I'm glad I didn't have to judge!! Thank you to everyone else who supported all the acts. You had to sit for quite a while in the heat and as always were exceptional role models.

So we have just 2 weeks left and lots to fit in. The timetable for the last week will depend on how well we get on this week, so hopefully you are ready for a final push.

Our learning behaviour is 'Improve' - maybe that will show in your determination to finish your learning for the year and still make it the best it can be so the last week will be a bit calmer.

The timetable is attached so you can see what we need to do.

Head pupil applications should be being worked on if you are interested in standing for the new school year. Remember to talk to Brendan, Jake or Ellie if you want to know what the role involves. They will be a tough act to follow that's for sure!

Please remember to bring back any library books, school sports kits and guitars that you have borrowed.

Friday, year 6 will take part in a transition event with Bentley year 6 at the church. We will then go to the school for some transition work with East Bergholt high school. This is for all year 6s, whether they are going to EB or not. It would help to have a packed lunch that day if possible, if not we will need to order a lunch from Bentley School.

Thursday afternoon is your class treat. I know you are hoping for a water fight weather permitting!! You will need an appropriate change of clothes, towel and some form of water weapon for the afternoon if you wish to take part.

I think that's it for now. Enjoy the rest of your day. I'm looking forward to watching Wimbledon again later.
