Woodpeckers Friday 17th July

Date: 16th Jul 2020 @ 7:39pm

Good morning Woodpeckers smiley

It is your final day of home learning before the summer holidays! Although we are looking forward to seeing you all next week either on Monday or Tuesday.

Today’s learning:

Maths –

Year 3 – Drawing lines and shapes accurately. You will find the sheets attached on Monday’s blog.

Year 4 – Maths Quiz and a game, you will find the link on the blog.

Writing: Look at the Road Safety poem on your timetable. Your task is to add 3 more verses to the poem.  Perhaps your verses could be about finding safe places to cross, wearing bright clothing at night-time or helping others to cross the road?

Reading – read for pleasure.

Spellings – Practise your weekly spellings or log on to Spelling Shed to practise them.

Topic - STEM – Bicycle Safety. Watch the clip on the timetable as it has really good key messages to keep you safe. Remember that it is an American Video so ‘sidewalk’ means path and please do not ride on the right side of the road, as we need to ride on the left side of the road as our traffic drives on the left.

Design and make your cycling sweatshirt consider using reflective or shiny materials at home.

We are so proud of you all this year with all the learning you have completed at home and adjusting to a new way of life, you have all been superstars!!!

Have a great day and if you need anything today please get in touch on our weekly discussion page.

Have a lovely weekend and we will look forward to seeing you all next week.
