PGL Day Two

Date: 2nd Nov 2022 @ 7:27am

Good morning! We eventually managed to sleep by about 11pm which isn’t bad for the first night. Some rooms awoke early but hopefully the children had enough sleep to get through today’s activities which include: archery, raft building, trapeze (Leap of Faith), abseiling and beach/coastal walk.

Photos will follow...

Today has been awesome but very windy. All 3 groups have taken part in raft building, trapeze and coastal walk and 2 have done archery and 1 abseiling. All the children have pushed themselves in order to either achieve or exceed a target, particularly for the trapeze or Leap of Faith activity - even Mrs Robinson climbed to the top despite really strong winds!  Mrs Lawrance also paid us a visit which the children loved.

Tonight we ambush which is a top secret activity! Hopefully the children have exhausted themselves today and will sleep well tonight. ?

Some of us managed to stay on board our rafts in group 1, some were less successful. We also had a blustery walk on the beach where we tried to stay upright against the wind. It’s been a great day but Mrs Windmill is hoping the snoring monster stays quiet tonight so she doesn’t have to get up at half past 2 again.
