Voice in a Million

On the 14th March 20 excited children, some staff and some parents set off on their journey to Wembley Arena to take part in 2018 Voice in a Million concert. The children had been rehearsing their songs for many weeks and were looking forwards to taking part in this amazing concert.

We soon arrived and after stretching our legs and having a picnic lunch we entered the Arena and ran through our rehearsals, getting ready for the evening concert. We practiced the opening ceremony where all the schools paraded their school banners across the stage and through the audience and also got to meet the VIAM choir and some of the other acts that we were performing with.

After a quick break and some much needed tea we donned our VIAM T shirts and took our seats as the Arena filled up with the audience. It was exciting to se our parents down there too. Very soon the lights went down and the show started! The lights, the sea of glow sticks and the wall of sound as we began singing was amazing, the atmosphere just sparkled. The audience were treated to a wide range of songs and dance moves by the 1000's of children and the acts on the stage. It was such a memorable experience and our children loved it, especially watching acts like Lil T .

Soon it was all over and happily we made our way back to the coach! What a fabulous evening and one we would never forget!

After returning at 12.15 we had a very late night! Tomorrow morning was going to be hard but still.......we wouldn't have missed it for the world!
