Copdock Sports Day

A fantastic afternoon was had by all at Copdock sports day today. It was lovely to see so many parents and grandparents joining us to cheer the teams on in the many events. After an enjoyable picnic lunch on the feld, the fun began with KS1 heats of 'egg and spoon' and sack races. KS2 followed shortly after with space hopper and hurdles. As always we had several team athletics events including archery, assault course and the 'Harry Kane chicane', where teams could build their points whilst demonstrating their skills and team support.

Everyone took part to the best of their abilities and the older children were fantastic as captains, cheering everyone along. Final scores were extremely close but we all celebrated with Brazil, our yellow team, who were the overall winners; well done!

A big thank you to Neil Parnum who kindly set up a PA system for today's event enabling music and communication to be heard by all.

And now for the England match... hopefully the yellow team won't win tonight!
