Each school has one member of staff who is the designated Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator.  Both of our SENDCos have the National Award in Special Educational Needs Co-ordination. The Award equips the SENDCo's to fulfil the duties outlined in the Code of Practice as well as:

  • Manage day to day responsibility for the operation of SEND policy
  • Co-ordination of specific provision made to support individual pupils with SEND
  • Providing professional guidance to colleagues, parents and other agencies
  • Providing a support role to families

Bentley School's Christian Ethos

"Know that I am with you always," Matthew 28:20 We encourage the spiritual, social, moral and cultural development of the school family by embedding Christian values into everyday life. Our vision is for all children to be confident individuals, successful learners and responsible citizens who are well equipped for future life, knowing that God is with them always.
