Homework

Homework is set on a Tuesday and is due in on the following Tuesday.

There will generally be some maths and a piece of English, either reading, writing or grammar. In addition children are expected to read 5 times a week and have their diaries signed each week to sat this has been completed.

All children in year 5/6 should know all the multiplication and division facts up to 12 x 12. It is essential these are learnt and can be answered quickly as there is noe time to calculate these when doing bigger calculations.

Spellings are set on a Tuesday for the following Tuesday. These can be found on Spelling Shed. They should also be practising the year 5/6 words.

As part of encouraging the older children to become more independent it is their responsibility to ensure this is all done.
