Go Run For Fun

Today, children from Reception and Year 1 at both schools represented us at the GO Run For Fun event.

The GO Run For Fun programme has a very simple aim - to get as many children between the age of 5 and 11 running as possible, through well organised fun events. Since GO Run For Fun kicked off in Summer 2013, they have seen well over 100,000 young runners take part in events spanning the UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland and Houston, USA - and they are still growing!

The children had a fantastic time and even met a GB athlete Lina Nielsen. The children completed a 2km course and as always represented our school exceptionally well, demonstrating great determination, support for one another and perseverance.

Well done to all of you for your amazing achievement and we are very proud of you!
