Copdock Weekly Update 19/03/2021

Thank you so much for sharing your views on the return to school.  Head Pupils have produced a short report to share with Governors and they have agreed some next steps for consideration.  Their report can be seen on the letters page of the website.

One of the concerns raised was about how adults were wearing masks.  Head pupils agreed it would be good to remind everyone about the importance of wearing them when in closer contact with other people and to provide information about HOW to wear a mask properly.

We will keep you updated on any further discussions in the coming weeks.

Art Exhibition

If you were on the sharing assembly you'll know the children have been working really hard this week to create some fabulous pieces of artwork to be included in our exhibition.  Next Thursday morning we will share with you a link to our exhibition to enable you to see all of the children's efforts, it will be during our assembly time of 10:25am.  Why not use the inspiration from the exhibition to create a fabulous Easter bonnet ready for our parade on Friday?

Chocolate Bingo

The PTA ran another successful event last week with Chocolate Bingo.  Prizes were quarantined and handed out from school this week.  Congratulations to all our winners, but especially to the PTA team who organised the event which raised around £100 for our school.

Uniform Order

Please see the attached order form for new uniform.  Please ensure all forms and payments are returned by Tuesday 23rd March.  We are trialling a new system for online payments via the Suffolk Partner Portal.  If you would like to pay online, please use this link https://connect.suffolk.gov.uk/tripsanduniforms/ and notify us on the order form that the payment has been made in this way.  If paying by cash or cheque please put the forms and money/cheque in a named envelope and either pop them into the post box or hand to one of the office staff on the gate.  Please note the tight turn around to enable the order to be placed before the Easter holidays - we apologise for this but we were only notified of a price increase at very late notice.
