Copdock Weekly Update 17/07/2020

As we approach the end of the school year it has been sad to think we have been unable to gather as a school community to wish you all a wonderful summer and share celebrations together. We have awarded our trophies for the year in the last two days and say well done to the following children once again for their recognised efforts during the year:

Arielle - Caring Cup

Ellie N - Achievement Cup

Joshua - Headteacher's Shield

Cassie - Caring Cup

Harrison - Achievement Cup

Harvey - Sports Attitude

Jess - Sports Achievement

We hope some of you managed to join us for our live Leaver's Celebration Event today but if not we will be adding photos and video for you to access shortly. A video of memories put together by parents is available here for you to access https://youtu.be/FppI6WpSZU0

We have now said goodbye to children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 6. However, we look forward to seeing our other year groups on Monday or Tuesday next week. Just to remind you...

Tuesday 9am arrival for Y4/5; collection at 12.30pm for Y5 and 3pm for Y4

Summer learning

You have all done a fantastic job supporting learning in recent weeks and we are really grateful for everything you have achieved. To prepare for the transition back to full time education in September, teachers have put together an overview of skills and resources for each year group. This highlights the important objectives the children would have been working towards at the end of this year and where you can find activities to support these skills. It would be extremely beneficial for the children if they could continue to do some of these things over the summer. This will make sure the hard work you have put in continues to be applied and the key skills are not last during the break. These summer learning guides can be found on the home learning tab of each class page and we have also attached them to the email.

Information about September has been sent home this week and is available on the website here:
