For those children participating in the Dodgeball tournament, please ensure they come into school on Tuesday in their PE kits with a coat and plenty of water.  As they will be back by lunchtime, they will be able to order a hot dinner.

Urban Dance Taster Session

For those of you who replied to the email sent earlier in the week, we have a trial session on Tuesday after school for an Urban Dance Class.  KS2 children will already be in uniform.  Children attending from KS1 will be fine to participate in their uniforms.

Fundraising

We have a couple of events coming up on the next 2 Fridays.  The 18th sees the annual, nationally recognised Red Nose Day, with this year being the turn of Comic Relief.  Children are invited to come into school dressed either as a superhero, or in red, for a 50p donation.  The following week, 25th, sees a Go Purple day raising funds and awareness for Epilepsy Action.  Children are invited to come into school dressed in something purple, and will have the opportunity to buy a cake from Snack Shop, for a 50p donation.

Following on from our Prayer Space and reflections in school today, if you would like to make donations to help the people of Ukraine, please see the email sent earlier in the week, or more specifically please see this link for details of organisations who are coordinating collections locally or to give financial assistance, please use this link.

The children have asked to have access to an activity we did today as part of our learning about 'refuge'. This is attached below.

School Collections

As the evenings are getting lighter and the weather is improving, if you would like your Foxes child to meet you down the road rather than coming onto site to collect, please ensure you notify the office by email as we do check children leave site with an adult unless we have been informed otherwise.  Please remember that school finishes at 3:15pm.  Do talk to your child about walking sensibly to meet you, and what to do if you are not there.

Please be advised the Curriculum Maps for this half term are available on our website for this half term detailing the topics the children will be covering.  They can be found on th class pages under the topic section, alternatively, they can be located here.

Our Gangs & County Lines Parents’ Session consists of speakers utilising their lived experience within the criminal justice system to unpack and explore the realities and consequences of county lines drug smuggling, gang involvement, criminal exploitation and serious youth violence. Perspectives from previous perpetrators and runners/transporters, combined with relevant case studies, aid audiences in gaining an authentic and credible understanding of this complex and cross cutting issue. The session will allow parents to identify signs and triggers that a young person might be involved in a county line and know how to appropriate respond.Ipswich and East Suffolk  Parent / Carer Session 6.30pm – 8pm 30th March Webinar Registration - ZoomFor full details click the link: St Giles Trust SOS + Programme Gangs and County Lines Parent and Carer Webinars
