Copdock Weekly Update 04/03/2022

Sweetcorn Seeds

We have been given some packets of sweetcorn seeds from Thompson & Morgan, each family should bring home a pack today.

Access to Playground Next Week

During the early part of next week we are having some exciting work taking place on the playground which may mean areas of it are out of bounds.  Until the contractors get started on Monday morning we are unable to be precise.  Our plan is for the children to go straight into class in the mornings once the 'build' is underway, and for parents collecting in the evening to follow directions given on the day.

After School Clubs

Next week sees the start of some clubs for our younger children.  There is football available for years 1-3 on Mondays from 3:20-4:20 for the next 5 weeks - please see the flyer attached for booking details.  Tuesday sees the re-start of Lego club for reception to year 4, please see the link for booking details.  Places are still available at both clubs.

Family Sharing Assemblies

We restart our Family Sharing Assemblies next week at 2:45pm.  Parents are invited in but please confirm attendance to the office in advance.  The schedule is attached to this newsletter and the accompanying email for your reference.  Please ensure if logging in from home that you sign in in the desired format and have cameras and microphones off from the start.  The link is the same as has been available since September, and can be reused each week.

PGL Payments

For those pupils in years 4 & 5, don't forget to bring your payment card into the office when making payments towards the trip in November.  To assist in this we have enabled payments via the school website.  You can decide how much you pay in denominations of £5s or £10s, but please remember to send the payment card in so that we can keep it updated with the balance.

Easter Service

Don't forget more details will be coming your way about our Easter Service to be held at the church on Thursday 7th April.  But children will need to be collected from the church at the end of the day.  Get started early on making those Easter bonnets ready for the parade on the service day.
