Bentley Weekly Update 27/04/18

Year 6 SATs – Children in Year 6 need to continue with their revision; it really does have a huge impact when parents support learning at home and we are grateful to those parents who have done all those extra bits at home to boost your child’s learning.

School Nurse – A member of the school nursing team will be visiting on Tuesday to carry out reception checks on children born between 01/01/13 and 31/03/13.

PTA Meeting – There will be a PTA meeting after school next Friday, do come along if you can. Mrs Duff will be holding a crèche.

Active Schools – The free Active Schools activities will start on Tuesday 8th May and will run every Tuesday and Wednesday. A letter with further information will be sent home next week.

Eco Council – Please could Eco Council members bring old clothes in again to keep in school for when we are working on the gardening. Alternatively, please email to say you are happy for uniform to get a bit grubby on Friday lunch times. Thank you, from Mrs Duff.

Bentley Toddler Group Jumble Sale – Advance notice – grab yourself a bargain! On Saturday 12th May, there will be a jumble sale in the village hall organised by Bentley Toddler Group. Entry is just 50p and doors open at 2pm. If you have any donations for the sale, these can be dropped at the village hall from 9am.

Menu Change – On Wednesday of week 3 of the dinner menu, it says mash potato with the roast. We have agreed with the kitchen that this will be permanently changed to roast potatoes.
